Questions about fees

Usually, if your policy includes outpatient cover. Please check your outpatient limit and excess with your insurer.

A fixed-price package is quoted by the hospital and normally covers the hospital stay, the operation, the implant, the surgeon’s and anaesthetist’s fees and routine follow-up. The hospital will confirm in writing exactly what is included before you decide.

Some hospitals offer payment plans for self-pay surgery, subject to their own terms. The hospital’s self-pay team can explain the options when they send your quote.
